The 21/22 Rangers home jersey commemorates the club’s 150th anniversary
As Rangers gear up for an exciting year ahead, we’ve used our extreme passion for innovation and love of sport to create a kit that plays homage to the club’s 150th anniversary. The 2021/2022 Rangers home jersey has been designed with the club’s historic past in mind while also giving it a contemporary touch. Think of it as a true Rangers shirt with a modern edge.
Showing off the new crest with celebratory gold branding in honour of their anniversary, the Rangers home jersey is clean, crisp and classic. The wider cuff in block solid white gives a nod to 80s and 90s retro styles while the subtle pinstripe running through it provides a modern heritage feel.
With the new crest sitting on the front of the kit, we moved the club’s unique 5 gold stars that symbolise their 50 league titles to the back of every shirt, acknowledging just how important these details are to the fans. On the back of the kit, you’ll also find the names of the founders and the dates the club was established. We did this to add a personal touch for both the fans and the club while also making it clear that this is a 150th anniversary kit that recognises Rangers great history and accomplishments. On the other hand, the shorts have been kept to a subtle classic design to allow the full focus to be on the shirt.
Engineered the Castore way using performance-enhancing techniques, the kit is crafted from a lightweight, breathable and high-stretch fabric for unrivalled comfort, enhanced ventilation and easy movement.
